The Tool Box/Dog Box (commonly known as a crossover box) is made to sit at the front of the truck bed just like a tool box would. This type of box is commonly used if the truck is used to pull a gooseneck or fifthwheel trailer and you need to keep the rear portion of the bed open. The area above the bedsides makes up the storage area and the portion of the box inside the bed makes up the dog compartment area. The doors are hinged to the center of the box making access to the door latches easy from the outside of the truck bed. The T7222S and T7223S are for shortbed trucks and have wheel well boxes to accomodate the truck wheel wells. The T7222L and the T7223L are for long bed trucks and do not have the wheel well boxes.
